Thermal fleece campervan insulation on a 5m x 70cm roll (3.5 m²) or 10m x 70cm roll (7 m²). At around 35mm thick, it fills the space between your van's bare metal and its interior panels, trapping air and keeping the heat inside. Think of it as a down jacket for your van.

It's made from recycled plastic bottles, it's non-irritant and you can handle it without gloves. Part of our van insulation range.

Why thermal fleece?

• Fits where boards can't: bends, folds and packs into wheel arches, ribs, door panels and floor cavities without cutting tools
• No squeaks: rigid boards are notorious for squeaking when the van is moving; fleece doesn't

Rigid boards can edge it on thermal performance in ideal conditions, but around the curves and cavities of a real van, fleece is far easier to fit well.

How to fit

Pack it into walls, floor cavities, door panels and any gap you can reach. Don't compress it too much: the air trapped in the fibres does the insulating, so squashing it flat loses the benefit.

Check your roof clearance before ordering fleece for the roof. Some vans, such as the VW T5/T6, have very little space between the roof lining and the metal roof. Where space is tight, our slimmer 7.5mm self-adhesive foam roll may be a better fit.

Use it with

• Butyl sound deadening mats: fit these first, directly on the metal, to stop panel drumming
• Self-adhesive van insulation roll: foil-backed closed cell foam for large flat panels
