Dodo Mat DEADN Hex is Dodo Mat's premium sound deadening material, designed to reduce road noise, vibration and panel resonance in your campervan.

A direct alternative to brands like Silent Coat and Dynamat, DEADN Hex features a distinctive hex embossed aluminium finish and a slightly softer, more flexible construction, making it easier to install around the curves and contours of your van.

This pack contains 20 sheets, each measuring 375 × 250mm, providing a total coverage of 20 sq.ft (1.8m²).

Made from 1.8mm foil-backed butyl rubber, DEADN Hex works by deadening large, flat metal panels that naturally vibrate as you drive. The result is less rattling, reduced road noise and a quieter, more refined interior - particularly in the rear of the van where large metal panels are most prone to resonance.

For the best results, apply DEADN Hex to large, flat metal panels such as the side walls, sliding door and rear doors. It's generally less effective on the floor, roof and wheel arches, as these areas are already reinforced with pressed ridges to reduce vibration. Concentrating on the flatter panels gives the greatest improvement without adding unnecessary weight.

Installation

• Use a roller for best adhesion.
• Don’t apply over brackets or cable runs (especially in the sliding door).
• You don’t need 100% coverage — 60–80% of flat panel space is usually enough.
